Graduation:
What a really wonderful moment, the world is open to so many possibilities. Live lives being aware that it is happening; don’t just let it slip by quietly and without thought. Enjoy the simple moments, lunch with a friend, a day spent with someone you love or a walk in your neighborhood. We all seem to think we have to wait for those really big moments to celebrate life, but that just isn’t the case, celebrate being alive and enjoy it.

I just don't get it
OK I hate to make this a negative post, but I just couldn't stop thinking about this without getting really mad. I was at school today and my son's teacher, who is a really great teacher, (this is her first year) I asked her if she was excited about the summer and she explained she is moving to a city about an hour away. I asked why and she said the school did not renew her contract because the funding has been cut, so they are just going to increase class sizes. Her job was not the only one cut.
What makes me mad is whether you are a democrat or republican, we are spending so much money on things that really are not important or shouldn't be spent in the first place. When are we going to support teachers and our schools and make our children's education the most important thing.

Whats really important
Sometimes we get so caught up on things, that really aren't that important. Like what things do we own or how much money we make, we sometimes let those things overshadow what is really important and that is: Family. It is little moments that mean the most, a simple thank you, a cheery hello or just a heartfelt I love you. If we tried to wake up each day and try to make someone we love, happier, then I feel we have been a success. And when I am talking about family I don't just feel I am talking about someone you are blood related to, I am talking about your friends, members of your church or even your pets. Family are those that make us happy and feel loved. Life happens so fast, take a moment, and remember if we are able to love and be loved we are a great success.

Such a good thing
OK I had a falling out with an artist that I LOVE, it was stupid and mostly me, well, it has really bothered me for a very long time, I adore this person and it made me sad we were no longer friends , so I wrote to her this past friday and told her I was very sorry and basically I was a great big stupidhead. Well long story short, she wrote back saying how happy she was I wrote and she too missed my friendship and she was sorry for anything she did that hurt my feelings.
I am so happy we are now maybe on our way back to a friendship. So I guess my message for tonight is this, if you have had a falling out with someone , call them and say "I am sorry", you will not regret it. Even if they are not ready to accept it, you have at least opened the door.

Words of Wisdom
“If ever there is tomorrow when we're not together.. there is something you must always remember. you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. but the most important thing is, even if we're apart.. i'll always be with you.”
